About LaNtrak
The Lansing Area N-Trak Railroad Club was formed in early 1992 by a group of model railroaders interested in N-scale. Early on, club members decided to build a modular layout to display at area train shows and related events. We decided to build these modules according to national N-Trak standards to ensure reliability and allow compatibility with other NTrak groups around the world.

Just one of our member's modules in use at the Fowlerville Fair.
We currently have a large rectangular shaped layout consisting of four corner modules and up to 15 straight modules. In addition, we have 3 modules which create return loops for use by themselves or in setting up an end to end layout. The club is also building a multi level permanent layout designed for operations.

We meet in the former Pere Marquette / Chesapeake & Ohio depot from Howell, now located in the Livingston Historic Village on the Fowlerville Fairgrounds (see photo above). Our smaller layout is usually set up in the baggage room of the depot.
While our membership resides primarily in Ingham and Livingston Counties, anyone in the central Michigan area is welcome to join.
Meetings are generally held every Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. and running until about 10 p.m. We did not meet during the current winter, but will resume regular meetings as the weather warms up. It is always best to call ahead to verify if the meeting is going to be held. Contact Mark Cowles (Howell) at 546-5241. Guests are always welcome.
